How We Evaluate Narrative Intelligence Platforms

Our approach to selecting, comparing and updating narrative intelligence platform coverage.

What qualifies for inclusion

A provider needs an explicit, documented capability for identifying, organizing or analyzing narratives and their spread. A generic mention counter or publishing tool does not qualify on that feature alone. We use official product pages and documentation to establish the published product scope.

What we compare

We examine narrative grouping, actor and community context, amplification analysis, source coverage, evidence, operational delivery and the buying route. Capabilities are assessed at the described product level. A feature in a separate module or custom offering is not automatically part of every subscription.

Claims, evidence and our judgment

Product descriptions establish what a vendor says it provides. Our suggested use cases are editorial interpretations of that scope. They are starting points for a demonstration, not independently measured comparative results. We do not convert marketing language into verified detection accuracy or guaranteed completeness.

A repeatable demo brief

Give each shortlisted provider the same narrative, relevant sources and decision question. Ask to inspect cluster membership, original source material, timestamps and explanations. Record useful findings, incorrect groupings, missed reference examples and unresolved coverage gaps. Agree acceptance criteria before running a pilot.

How to read limitations

A missing detail means the reviewed source did not establish the requirement clearly enough for this comparison. It does not prove that the feature is unavailable. Verify uncertain package terms, integrations, language quality and historical access directly with the provider.

Updates and corrections

The current comparison was reviewed on October 21, 2026. Material changes to product names, documented scope, plans or source availability should trigger a new check of the affected profile. References remain attached to the profile so readers can inspect the current official material. No fictional author credentials or product-test results are used.
